Alida brings creativity, warmth, and thoughtful problem-solving to her work with tamariki. With a background in Steiner education and early childhood teaching, she values creating rich and beautiful environments where children’s play, imagination, and sensory experiences are deeply nourished.
Alida believes in balancing the practical details of daily life with the bigger purpose of nurturing children through meaningful experiences, music, stories, and joyful learning. She appreciates the importance of adults working with intention and purpose, knowing this leaves a lasting impression on children.
Outside of Aurora, Alida enjoys sewing, painting, exploring nature, and spending time in cafés with good coffee and her notebook. She also enjoys swimming in the sea and values creativity and hands-on making in everyday life.
